Our Classes

Vinyasa: Vinyasa Flow is sequential movement that interlinks postures to form a continuous flow. It is a moving meditation on the mat while building heat. Students can expect to move through multiple poses to build heat, strength, and mental focus. Expect to build some sweat! Take class at your own pace. Classes are all levels.

Heated Vinyasa: Our heated vinyasa classes link flowing moving with breath and both build strength and work to increase flexibility.
Class are heated to 90 degrees with increased humidity. You’ll experience a mindful, flowing, creatively-sequenced practice that encourages you to get out of your head, provides a challenge, and gets you sweating, moving, and deliciously ready for savasana (guided rest.)
Classes will be accessible and as always modifiable for all levels. If you have never practiced yoga before, we suggest checking out one of our foundations or non-heated classes first before jumping into the heat so you are familiar with the movements. Drink plenty of water before class and throughout practice, and let the teacher know that you are new.

Foundations: The best way to practice yoga is with a beginners mind; a blank slate, with no expectations, no judgments and a willingness to surrender. In yoga basics we will begin with warming up the body, and then mindfully move through a mix of standing and seated poses, focusing on the mind / body connection and awareness of the breath. We end with cooling supine poses and resting in savasana. Come as you are, everything can be modified to work for your body. Laughter and questions are encouraged! Great for beginners or those who would like to practice at a slightly slower pace, all are welcome!

Meditation: Build awareness, calm stress, and bring mindfulness into your daily life with this  meditation and breath series. Cultivate a positive mind, increase your patience, compassion, and attention. Class will begin with some very gentle movement, after which we will explore various meditation and breathing techniques designed to help cultivate daily happiness and calm. You’ll learn various meditation techniques that you will be able to bring out of the learning environment and into your home, work, or where ever you feel you could use more peace! We’ll go over the basics of meditation – and tips and tricks for daily mindful living.

Meditative Yin: In this yin class, students will move their way  into the quiet stillness of Yin, slowing down in both body and mind. The long, steady holds in Yin yoga bring lubrication to connective tissues (fascia, tendons, ligaments, and joints) increasing range of motion and maintaining mobility that is often diminished through the aging process. Meditation and Pranayama (breath work) will accompany this practice. All levels welcome.

Mindful Vinyasa — This class focuses on strengthening the meditative mind and practices moving with mindfulness and grace. You will be encouraged to find a natural rhythm of movement following the breath. We focus on building awareness, strength and balance. You will be lead through a sequence of poses with options to modify the practice to your skill level. Leave feeling rejuvenated and relaxed.

Morning Flow and Meditation: This flow class will start with a pranayama breath work exercise and seated meditation, moves into a heat building and mindful flow, and winds down with a guided 15 minute meditation and savasana.

Restorative Yoga: Calm and rest your entire body and mind in this restorative yoga class.  We will support the body with blankets, bolsters, and other props to allow a supported and gentle opening that allows you to rest and relax. Typically, class includes 5-7 poses, held up to 10 minutes at a time and in conjunction with meditation and deep relaxation. Come unwind and reset your body and mind!

SPA Yoga®: SPA yoga is a 75 min slow-flow, floor-based, whole-body sensory experience based on Fluid Yoga sequencing.By engaging all five of the senses with soft candlelight, soothing music, aromatherapy, lots of hands-on assists and a renewed awareness of taste (and sometimes chocolate!), SPA aligns practitioners with the inner wisdom of deep relaxation. The physical practice takes time to open the body’s subtle energy and prepares students to experience new depths of awareness in an extended, guided shavasana.During SPA, you may discover extra hands on assists and massages, a calming candlelit room atmosphere, delightful scents and beautiful music in the background.

Slow Vinyasa: In this slow vinyasa class, we will move at a gentler pace with extra attention to alignment and form. This class works great for all levels – beginners and advanced yogis alike.
